In order to gather citizens to share and celebrate Tainan's 400th anniversary, a "Tainan 400 Banquet" banquet event will be held at the Tainan Convention and Exhibition Center on December 29, inviting people from all over the country to come and share Tainan's unique banquet culture. This "400 Banquet" will invite many well-known chefs in Tainan to jointly create exclusive dishes for Tainan 400. In addition to recreating many classic signature dishes, new dishes will be developed based on Tainan's local specialty ingredients, allowing the public to enjoy the "400 Banquet". Experience the delicious enjoyment of classic Taiwanese cuisine at the exquisite table. Choosing to do it at the end of 2024 also symbolizes the completion of Tainan 400. Let’s start the next Tainan 400 together with delicious food!
Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe said that the last day of the "Tainan 400 City Food - Tourism Food Expo" event was specially chosen to hold the "Tainan 400 City Food - 400 Banquet" press conference. Mayor Huang Weizhe and Tourism Director Lin Guohua, Director Su Enen of the Information and International Relations Office, Councilor Guo Hongyi and representatives from the Legislator Service Office, district chiefs and representatives from various Tainan district offices, representatives from various local tourism associations in Tainan and other distinguished guests came to participate in the grand event. In addition to drawing the biggest prize of the event " In addition to the LUXGEN n7 pure electric SUV, we also tasted the delicious table dishes jointly created by the four chefs of the "400 Banquet". This time, we invited four well-known chefs in Tainan, including: A Yong Chef Wang Yiyong (Master Ayong) who has a catering business, Chef Shi Zongrong of Shijiaban Catering Banquet Hall, Chef Hong Junnan of Chef Hong’s wedding banquet, and Chef Guo Yuhong of Hongzhen Banquet Restaurant; and they also invited the Dutch Bel Canto Martin ·Martin Hurkens sang at the 400th Banquet, which is believed to be the most anticipated gourmet banquet at the end of the year.
Lin Guohua, director of the Tourism Bureau, said that the "Tainan 400 City Food - 400 Banquet" will have 400 tables. Online reservations will be made when the quota is reached. Each table will cost NT$12,000. There will be a total of ten delicacies, all of which are Tainan's specialty delicacies. "The 400 Banquet" is scheduled to open for registration at 12 noon on December 4. People can register at the ibon online ticketing system or ibon machines at 7-11 stores across Taiwan.

According to statistics, nearly 50,000 people entered the venue in four days, and the on-site consumption amount exceeded 3.5 million. In the future, the food and sightseeing corridor in the exhibition area will be moved to three major theme exhibition areas (12/ 5-12/20)─Guantian Visitor Center, Qigu Visitor Center and Yongkang Tainan Municipal Library New Main Branch will hold relay exhibitions. Immediately after the end of the exhibition, the Tainan 400 Banquet will be held at the end of the year, featuring Tainan’s most distinctive offices.
