Japan is one of the important international tourism markets in Tainan City. The Nanshi Tourism Bureau actively seizes various opportunities to promote Tainan's international tourism. On the 15th and 19th of this (July), it cooperated with the author Atsushi Odō to market Tainan in Sapporo, Hokkaido and Tokyo respectively. For sightseeing, a Japanese writer who has lived in Tainan for more than 10 years shares the unique charm of Tainan from a Japanese perspective, and invites the public to visit Tainan to personally discover and experience the rich culture, food, mountains and sea of this oldest ancient city in Taiwan. Tainan sightseeing Japanese brochures, Tainan 400 guardians, and Tainan travel guides were prepared on site. We hope that through event sharing, more Japanese people will know about Tainan and make Tainan the first choice destination for overseas travel.

Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe said that Tainan's long history and natural geographical advantages have accumulated diverse tourism resources. It is also famous as an ancient cultural capital, an agricultural city, and a gourmet city. Tainan's warm climate is also very suitable for tourists from Japan, whether they are independent travelers Whether it is a group tour, a family trip or a student education trip, different optimal itineraries can be arranged according to the purpose. Thanks to the writer Atsushi Daidong for his help in bringing Tainan’s tourism information to Japan, and we hope to attract more Japanese tourists to visit Tainan.

Director of the Tourism Bureau, Lin Guohua, said that Tainan is working hard to expand its presence in the international tourism market, and also expands the reach of marketing promotions through cooperation with the private sector. With the support and full cooperation of industry players in the city, the speaker specially introduced Tainan's tourist attraction Shiba Mao Teahouse. Tea, as well as Tainan products such as dried mango and pineapple, Tainan specialty heritage biscuits, and Dongshan coffee were brought to the scene. It is hoped that product tourism will promote mutual marketing and attract young students to strengthen the promotion of Tainan educational tourism in Japan.

The Tourism Bureau said that more than 50 people participated in the two events. The writer of the history of Dadong also helped bring Tainan tourist maps, brochures and Tainan 400 Censorship to the local tourism association, which was warmly welcomed. In the future, the Tourism and Tourism Bureau will continue to market international tourism overseas through various cooperation and diversified channels. In order to attract international tourists to Tainan, the "Tainan City Tourism Industry Award for Attracting International Tourists in 2013" was also launched on April 1 this year (2013). "Program", each person can receive a subsidy of up to NT$800, with the aim of increasing the willingness of overseas tourists to come to Tainan through incentives.
