Tainan City and Yamagata City of Japan concluded a friendly exchange agreement in 2017. Lin Guohua, director of the Tourism Bureau, said that Tainan is working hard to expand its presence in the international market and seize the opportunity of exchanges with friendship cities to market Tainan's international tourism. This time, before Japan's Golden Week, we have the opportunity to organize tourism products at the Yamagata Zao Road Station near the main transportation thoroughfare. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 50,000 people in two days. Japan is a key target market for Tainan City’s international tourism promotion.
