On the second day of the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, the sun was still shining brightly in Tainan, and tourists flocked to various scenic spots. Mayor Huang Weizhe expressed the hope that citizens and tourists from all over the country will take advantage of the consecutive holidays to relax and relieve stress, and also prayed that all Chinese people would be safe.
Lin Guohua, director of the Tainan City Government’s Tourism Bureau, said that various scenic spots in Tainan have launched many exclusive activities for children during the holidays. On the morning of the second day of the holiday, there were crowds of tourists in urban neighborhoods and important attractions. The number of tourists in Guohua Haian Xiaoximen Business District, Anping Old Street, Xinhua Old Street, Jingliao Old Street, Yanyan Old Street and other blocks exceeded 3.5 Thousands of people visited the old streets to taste delicious food; popular attractions rich in literature and art such as Tainan Museum of Art, Chi Mei Museum, Shanshan Waterway Garden Museum, Zuozhen Fossil Park, Taiwan Museum of History and other art and cultural exhibition halls attracted more than 2,500 people to enter the venue. More than 6,300 people visited the Toupi Scenic Area, Guanziling Scenic Area, Meiling Scenic Area, Deyuanpi, Hulupi and other scenic spots; 3,700 people also visited the Shigurentang Cultural and Creative Park and Naughty World Wildlife Park.
It is the season of spring, when Douglas trees and hollyhocks are in full bloom. Nanhua District, Xigang District, Shanhua District and other places have held corresponding flower season activities, presenting visitors with a colorful spring scenery. The Shuijiaoshe Children's Day Market will be held at the Shuijiaoshe Cultural Park from April 5th to 6th, allowing you to enjoy the happy atmosphere with your children. Planetarium × Children’s Day Space Fantasy Party will be held at the Nanying Planetarium and Cai Die Mountain Naked Dragon from April 5th to 6th, bringing you an immersive fantasy experience. From April 4th to 7th, the "Nanbo Tour x Children's Tomb Sweeping Day" event was held in the multi-functional classroom on the 1st floor of the Taiwan Museum of History. Naughty World Wildlife Park held an animal carnival, bringing visitors a happy party between animals and people. Xiaolong Cultural Park has launched art exhibitions, workshops and other activities, allowing visitors to not only appreciate art, but also participate in it and experience the joy of creation.
