The "Hospitality Pilot Forum: When Aesthetics Meets B&Bs" held for the first time by the Taiwan Hospitality B&B Association was held yesterday (4th) at the Tainan City Museum of Art, Hall 2. Director Lin Guohua of the Tourism Bureau, on behalf of Mayor Huang Weizhe, welcomed the hospitality B&B operators from all over the country and hoped that the Taiwan Hospitality B&B Association would move more similar events to Tainan in the future.
Mayor Huang Weizhe said that Haoke B&B attaches great importance to the six spirits of kindness, friendliness, cleanliness, hygiene, security, and quality, and demonstrates Taiwan's friendly humanity, warm service, local life culture, and understanding of local customs. It is not easy to be selected by Haoke B&B. , reflecting the intentions and enthusiasm of the B&B operators. Special thanks to the Taiwan Hospitality B&B Association for choosing to hold this forum in Tainan City, and inviting designers Qiu Bowen and Wang Lingyi from Taiwan Railway Mingri and Mingri Kitchen, Wu Ting'an, the director of Chunchi Glass W Chunchi Project, etc., respectively. The lecture focused on design aesthetics and the concept of sustainable recycling. Tainan-based designer Xie Xinye also shared his experience in the renovation of the Tianxia Nanyu Hotel. The organizer also planned and arranged a guided tour of Nancheng Yasi Space and a cultural lantern walk through the historical district. The event has a high degree of aesthetics and culture depth. Huang Weizhe City has long promised that hospitality B&B operators from all over the country will reap a fruitful harvest, and hopes to lead a new wave of B&B aesthetic trends.

Legal B&B operators must first participate in coaching training and obtain a completion certificate before applying for on-site inspections. On-site inspections also include a team of experts and scholars formed by the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transport to go to each B&B site to make evaluations on the building environment, accommodation environment, safety and health, room reservation services, reception services, information services and catering services. At the same time, they will also conduct interviews with various local governments. The government checks whether the B&B has any violations or illegal activities. The selection process takes into account both subjective and objective aspects. Therefore, it is not easy for a B&B to obtain the hospitality certification.
The Tourism Bureau is committed to guiding the hotel business. Currently, there are 137 Hospitable B&Bs, the most among the six cities. This not only fully demonstrates the dedication and enthusiasm of Tainan B&B operators for B&Bs, but is also the strongest pillar of the Taiwan Hospitable B&B Association. Invite hospitable B&B operators from all over the country to come to Tainan next year to "get busy" and participate in the 2024 Taiwan Lantern Festival and Tainan 400 series of activities.
