Chen Hongtian, director of the Hutoupi Scenic Area Management Office, pointed out that this fishing competition attracted more than 2,500 people to the park. Among them, angler Guo Baichen from Qishan District, Kaohsiung City won the first place with a 2 kilogram Thai snakehead. At 11:30 a.m. Lin Guohua, Director of the Tourism Bureau, presented the maximum final prize of RMB 5,000 and a picnic mat at the scene.

The winners of this competition are as follows:
(1) First place (Thai Snakehead, 2 kg): Angler Guo Baichen received a bonus of NT$5,000 + a picnic mat.
(2) Second place (Tilapia, 1.5 kg): Angler Li Renhong received a bonus of NT$4,000 + picnic mat.
(3) Third place (Thai Snakehead, 1.4 kg): Angler Guo Guanlin received a bonus of NT$2,500 + a picnic mat.
(4) Third place (Thai Snakehead, 1.4 kg): Angler Zhuang Weijiao received a bonus of NT$2,500 + a picnic mat.
(5) Fifth place (Wuchang fish, 1.2 kg): Angler Lin Baoxun received a bonus of NT$1,000 + picnic mat.

Target Fish Award (Bamboo Shell Fish): Yang Zongpei, Luo Qicheng, Liao Guofeng, and Hong Kuntai each received a bonus of NT$1,000 + picnic mat
