The 2024 Taiwan Lantern Festival will be held in Tainan City from February 24 to March 10 next year (113). The main lantern of the 2024 Taiwan Lantern Festival is named "Dragon Comes to Taiwan". It was jointly named by Chairman Lin Mingde of the China Folk Art Foundation and Academician Li Fengmao of the Academia Sinica. It not only combines the Qian Gua of the Book of Changes with the prayer elements of folk etiquette, but also implies the Lord of the Year of the Dragon. The lanterns pay tribute to Tainan's 400 years of history. The name is simple in meaning, melodious in rhyme, and easy to pronounce. It also directly reflects the Chinese people's expectation that the Taiwan Lantern Festival will become famous internationally and welcome international tourists to Taiwan.

The total height of the main lantern work this time is 22 meters. Next year's 35th "Taiwan Lantern Festival" will have the theme of "Glory Tainan, Glorious Taiwan". From February 24 to March 10 next year, the public can go to the "High Speed Rail Lantern District" located around the High Speed Rail Tainan Station to view the wonderful main lantern festival.
