Camping has become one of the new popular outdoor recreational activities for Chinese people. In view of the fact that in the past, there were many micro-camping sites under 1 hectare on domestic agricultural, animal husbandry and forestry land and it was restricted by land use laws and regulations and could not apply for legality. "Urban Land Use Control Rules" will provide guidance to operators who meet the required conditions to apply legally, and will correct the chaos of micro-camping sites on agricultural, animal husbandry and forestry land, and maintain the safety of tourists.

Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe said that in order to ensure the safety regulations of the city’s camping sites, the Tourism and Tourism Bureau held briefings and proactively contacted the operators and established a Line group to provide the latest camping site information and related forms to the operators, and immediately assisted the operators in answering questions about camping sites. We will set up a counseling mechanism for inquiries and other issues, and will continue to assist operators in the future to legalize their businesses. As for those whose land does not meet the regulations, we will assist them in transitioning or exiting, and we hope to provide a high-quality and safe camping experience environment.

Lin Guohua, director of the Tainan City Government's Tourism Bureau, said that the city has initially managed 46 camping sites, of which 28 have been gradually transformed and withdrawn due to land restrictions. Hutoupi Scenic Area, Yanqian 18 Camping Ground, Zoumase Farm, Guanziling Happy Leisure Farm, Meiling Mysterious Aura Camping Area, Zengwen Youth Activity Center, Love Manor, Masagou Coastal Recreation Area, Guanziling Forest Park Nine campsites, including Tang Camping Ground, have completed registration in accordance with the "Key Points for Camping Ground Management"; 10 are in the process of applying for registration; 3 are located in urban land agricultural areas and will be transformed and withdrawn from coaching; 4 are yet to be submitted, with the goal of providing coaching All legal applicants are legalized to protect the rights and interests of tourists and strengthen the safety of camping ground operations in this city.

Information on legal camping sites and application forms in this city can be found and downloaded from the Administrative Service Network of the Provincial Tourism Bureau - Convenient Services - Camping Site Application. In environmentally sensitive areas, applications can be made at the Environmentally Sensitive Areas website of the Ministry of Interior's Construction Administration .
