The 2023 Asia-Pacific Summit Forum and National B&B Federation Member Conference was held in Matsu from November 6th to 8th. On the evening of the 7th, Chairman Ke Kaiwen of the Tainan B&B Cultural Development Association took over the 2024 event from Zhang Degui, Chairman of the Matsu B&B Development Association. Lin Guohua, director of the Tourism Bureau, said that before 2016, most of the B&B developments in Tainan were located in rural areas of the original county. There were only 89 B&Bs in the city. With the active efforts of the city government, it took the lead in the country and launched the "Tainan Double B&B" in September 2016. Tainan City Area" has been designated as a tourist area by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. In addition, it has been designated as a historical district.
