The 2023 Asia-Pacific Summit Forum and National B&B Federation Member Conference was held in Matsu from November 6th to 8th. On the evening of the 7th, Chairman Ke Kaiwen of the Tainan B&B Cultural Development Association took over the 2024 event from Zhang Degui, Chairman of the Matsu B&B Development Association. With the joint efforts of Chairman Ke and all members, the right to host Tainan 400 was obtained for the national event.
Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe said that for the 2024 Tainan 400, the city government team is actively preparing for a series of related activities. Lin Guohua, director of the Tourism Bureau, said that before 2016, most of the B&B developments in Tainan were located in rural areas of the original county. There were only 89 B&Bs in the city. With the active efforts of the city government, it took the lead in the country and launched the "Tainan Double B&B" in September 2016. Tainan City Area" has been designated as a tourist area by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. In addition, it has been designated as a historical district. We continue to hold B&B application briefing sessions in each administrative district and provide a single service window service for B&B application consultation and guidance. Both the public sector and B&B associations have received visits from other counties and cities many times to learn from and exchange experiences.
