Mr. Chen Taiyuan, the honorary chairman of the Tainan Fine Arts Society, began to complete 10 paintings in Hutoupi Scenic Area in 2018. From now on, they will be displayed in the camping area for tourists to enjoy, and also add an artistic atmosphere to the camping area.

Mayor Huang Weizhe said that Mr. Chen Taiyuan, who is over 80 years old, is the chairman of the Taiwan South American Association and the honorary chairman of the Tainan Fine Arts Society. In the 1970s, he was briefly seconded for two years to serve as the management team leader in Hutoupi. With his personal dedication to the Xinhua of his hometown, teacher Chen Taiyuan completed the theme of the Ten Scenes of Hutoupi, including the Eight Scenes of Hutoupi written by the poet Wang Zexiu of the former Qing Dynasty: watching fish on the sea, fishing for the moon in Huxi, the snail mark on the isolated island, the flying spring at the gate, and the river. In addition to the Pavilion Sitting on the Moon, Tiger Island Returning to the Clouds, Water Bridge Rainbow Shadow, and Tiger Head Reflection, two additional scenes including the original Xinhua Shrine Rest House and the First Pier were added, making a total of ten scenes.

Lin Guohua, director of the Tourism Bureau, said that the Hutoupi Reservoir has a long history and has always been the back garden of Tainan, and is also known as the "Little Sun Moon Lake". Teacher Chen Taiyuan's masterpiece can make the detailed scenery of Hutoupi more widely known. It also has great ornamental value, allowing more tourists to follow the pictures of the park's "Eight Scenic Spots of Hutou Pi" for in-depth travel. Due to the beautiful scenery of Hutou Pi's lakes and mountains, it often attracts art lovers from all over the world to come and create sketches on the spot, conveying the beautiful scenery in a moment.
