This morning (24th), the Hutoupi Scenic Area, known as the back garden of Tainan, held the "2023 Hutoupi Water and Green - Inviting Furry Children to Hiking" event. The scene was sunny and sunny, and many parents of furry children couldn't wait to join in. I took my furry child for a hike in the park to experience the charm of Taiwan’s largest reservoir. The guests present included Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe, Director of Tourism and Tourism Lin Guohua, Director of the Information and International Relations Department Su Enen, Legislator Lin Yijin, Vice Speaker Lin Zhizhan, Congressman Yu Jiaqing, Li Weizhi, Xinhua District Mayor Wu Jinxi, Hutoupi Scenic Area Management Office Director Chen Hongtian and other distinguished guests attended the first furry walking event held in Hutoupi. Before the start of the hiking event, the Tainan City Animal Protection Office shared many breeding and Professional knowledge on disease prevention, the scene is lively.

Mayor Huang Weizhe said in his speech that Tainan City has always been Taiwan's ancient cultural capital and a model for animal protection in Taiwan. It has taken the lead in implementing a zero-euthanasia policy, including TNVR (trap, sterilize, vaccinate, and return to the original place), Expanding adoption, neutering of stray dogs and cats, and three-in-one roving injection and sterilization of domestic dogs, etc., to actively build Tainan City as an animal-friendly city and reduce the number of stray dogs and cats entering animal shelters. We also cooperate with the public and private sectors and cooperate with many animal hospitals. Work with the pet industry to promote small adoption sites so that more places can provide adoption services, including small adoption meetings held in pet supply stores and department stores, so that people who are interested in adopting can obtain professional animal care information.

Lin Guohua, director of the Tourism and Tourism Bureau, said that 150 groups signed up for the furry kid hiking event held for the first time in Hutoupi, and it attracted more than 2,500 people throughout the day. We brought our furry children to the Hutoupi Scenic Area to enjoy the scenery of the lakes and mountains and breathe fresh air. The first 20 participants to register also took a ride on "Taiwan's first" electric solar boat, which was completely pollution-free and did not emit waste gas. The furry owners exclaimed again and again. After the hiking, there was a raffle to help everyone enjoy this pet carnival.
