The general education course of National Cheng Kung University-Traveling Tainan, the purpose is to let students enter the community and get close to the land of Tainan. In the course, the route of descending the mountain city with big eyes has completed the last echelon on 6/4, including Xinhua Wude Hall, Xinhua Old Street, Yang Kui Literature Memorial Hall, and Hutoupi Scenic Area. It is hoped that NCU students can enhance their personal literary atmosphere and the social value of local care through the practice of local knowledge.

Mayor Huang Weizhe said that Tainan is an important geographical location for Taiwan to enter the world trade system, and it is also the habitat of rich prehistoric and aboriginal social activities. It has its unique history and multicultural traditions. The curriculum planning has accumulated 32 themed routes. Through the courses in Tainan, NTU students from different cities can better understand the history of Tainan City and the context and vision of urban development around contemporary Tainan, practice the connection between school teaching and social pulse, and get out of the campus barrier.

Lin Guohua, Acting Director of the Tourism and Tourism Bureau, said that the Hutoupi Reservoir has a long history and was created by Ouyang An, a villager in Damujiang. During the era, Hutoupi was intentionally planned to be built as a scenic spot, and it was regarded as one of the twelve scenic spots in Taiwan during the Japanese period. Toupi has had a profound impact on Xinhua's tourism development.
