This year (112) the Spring Festival has up to 10 consecutive days of holidays. Hutoupi Scenic Area specially arranges many activities from the first day of the new year (1/22) to the sixth day of the new year (1/27). The activities include: (1) street Performances by artists, performances in the orchestra square (2) Stalls in the small farmer’s market (3) New Year’s image layout: park square, gate entrance, red house and coffee house (4) Nan’an story wall, appreciation of photographic competition works in front of the underground relics (5) Cricket House Old photo exhibition (6) Parent-child fun in the landscape recreation area (7) Fish in the Year of the Rabbit - a large fish head exhibition; during the Spring Festival, visitors are invited to experience Tainan's back garden - Hutoupi Scenic Area.
Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe, Hutoupi Scenic Area is the first reservoir in Taiwan with a history of 100 years.
