Mayor Huang Weizhe said that the "2022 Tainan City Water Recreation Experience Activities" kicked off at the Tainan Canal on May 29, and every month until October 16, there are activities planned in different fields. Director Secretary Lu Zhenyi of the Tourism and Tourism Bureau also said that the "2022 Tainan Water Recreation Experience Activities" plans four major activities: "River Challenge", "Leisure Experience", "Kite Surfing" and "Ecological Exploration" according to the characteristics of each water area:

1. "River Challenge": (2 days in total)
On May 29 and October 16, the Tainan Canal was opened for the public to bring unpowered vehicles and launch from the Canal Star Drill Daliang Park to challenge the Tainan Canal for 10 kilometers.

2. "Leisure Experience": (14 days in total)
From June 3rd to June 5th and from June 11th to June 12th at Hutoupi Scenic Area, Xinhua District; July 9th to July 10th and July 16th to July 17th Hulupi Natural Park, Guantian District; from October 1st to October 2nd and from October 8th to October 10th in Holland Village, Deyuanpi, Liuying District, providing canoes, stand-up paddles, dragon boat boards and other vehicles , let the people roam in the waters of the Pitang waters.
