In January and February of this year, they invited a Michelin-starred chef to Tainan to share their star-gaining experience with local industry players, which received a lot of positive responses from the catering industry and the public in Fucheng. The Tourism Bureau will hold the third symposium on March 17 (Thursday). In order to serve the industry and the public in Xibei area, the third symposium will be held at Nanke Zhan Hotel, Shanhua District, which is closer to Xibei area. Lin Quan, the chef of the one-Michelin-starred restaurant MUME, will be invited to discuss Michelin experience and cooking experience with you on the spot. .

Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe said that 2022 will be the fifth year for the Michelin Review to come to Taiwan, and it will also be the first year for Tainan to be included in the Michelin Review. A Michelin star will not only have a positive impact on the star-seeking industry, but also means promoting the topic of the city where the industry is located and the economic benefits of tourism and related industries. In order to counsel the industry, the Tourism Bureau has planned 5 counseling symposiums. The first and second counseling sessions will respectively invite Chef Chen Yonghua of a Taiwanese cuisine professional one-star Mixiang restaurant, and Japanese cuisine professional one-star Ji Zhao cut sushi chef Xu Wenjie to give lectures.
