Taiwan’s Largest Aesthetic Clinic Opens in Tainan

Tainan City Mayor William Lai finished his last stop in Shanghai yesterday at the Tainan Medical Tourism Fair. His first personal agenda item after returning from China was also promoting medical tourism, hosting the opening ceremony of Taiwan’s largest dermatology clinic and Asia-Pacific aesthetic medicine training center. He asserted that aesthetic medicine was the strength of Tainan and had been successfully introduced in Shanghai.

Mayor Lai stated that the promotion in Shanghai was particularly focused on medical tourism in Tainan, because aesthetic medicine was the strength of Tainan City. Shanghai's economic development has reached a certain level. It would be better if we can put health, medical, and beauty care together. Especially since Shanghai has severe winters, it will be attractive for people to get away from the cold and visit Tainan.

Lai said that the E-Champ dermatology clinic group headquarters and Asia-Pacific aesthetic medicine training center covered a total of 550 Ping (19566 sq. ft.) of land; the largest of its kind in Asia and also a significant new landmark in Tainan.

President of the E-Champ group Cheng-Kun Wang promised to devote maximum effort to enhance Tainan’s exposure in international medicine and medical tourism, expecting that the city will replace South Korea and become Asia's medical tourism and aesthetic medical center.
