Under the consideration of national epidemic prevention and the awareness of shouldering social responsibility, the 9th "Fucheng Puji Lantern Festival" in 2020 made a temporary call for the first time. In May 2021, the whole of Taiwan entered the second level of alert without warning. Under the severe epidemic situation, daily life has become an extraordinary period, and even the street scenery of Tainan has also changed. ; Some stores can't bear the loss and find another way out. Even if the epidemic prevention is successful and it is lowered to the third level of alert, the whole people still have to exhaust their efforts to restore life to the normal track, and at the same time have to face the latent threat of mutant viruses. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, it was originally planned to expand the lantern show under the Tokyo Tower in Tokyo, but it was also unable to make the trip due to the epidemic, but we still overcome the difficulties to airlift the lanterns to Japan, and they have been in Tokyo Tower Taiwan from 12/3-1/16. The festival debuted in advance. Although the members of the association could not go forward to participate in the publicity, it undoubtedly entered a new milestone in the marketing of Tainan city. Therefore, after the ten-year milestone, in the face of harsh conditions, I deeply felt that in the wind and rain of the times, the "Fucheng Puji Lantern Festival" can convey the warmth of the heart, the power to revitalize the place, and give the most sincere New Year's greetings. This year, with the theme of "Pu Ji picks up light, tiger mile happiness", in addition to the original static painted lantern exhibition, the dynamic interaction of "Blessing Lantern Palace" has been added. The design allows the lantern-viewing people to get rid of their bad luck after entering and exiting, and under the hope that the lanterns reflect, bring good luck in the New Year, and add a warmer interpretation to this self-funded and self-organized event.
