It hosted a lecture on the topic of "Creating a Healthy and Beautiful Life with Taiwan Medical Care" yesterday afternoon. Taiwan's representative in Vietnam, Chih-peng Huang, was invited and attended the lecture. Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) organized a Taiwan medical service industry delegation to Vietnam. The delegation hosted a lecture on the topic of "Creating a Healthy and Beautiful Life with Taiwan Medical Care"in Hanoi on October 20. About 100 Taiwanese businesspeople and overseas Taiwanese attended the lecture. Taiwan's representative in Vietnam, Chih-peng Huang, was invited and attended the lecture. Chih-peng Huang's speech highly praised the activities TAITRA had organized. He also noted that the friendship between Taiwan and Vietnam had developed rapidly. In 1992 air traffic was opened with flights between each country and both had set up economic offices. The two have formed close partnerships in the fields of finance, agriculture and fisheries, health, culture and education, science and technology among others. He remarked that through these activities, they would enhance the profile and popularity of Taiwan's medical care services, help Taiwan's medical care industry to form alliances with the local industries, promote the development of Taiwan's medical tourism service industry and bring in overseas citizens including the Vietnamese to Taiwan for medical services. The Vice President of Cathay General Hospital, Jheng-Hua Huang, was the head of the Taiwan medical service industry delegation to Vietnam. The delegation visited and observed medical treatment sessions in several hospitals in Vietnam and was looking for potential business cooperation opportunities. The delegation was scheduled to fly back to Taiwan this afternoon (October 21). |
