In addition to the national epidemic prevention measures regulated by the Executive Yuan, the Tainan City Government today (5/15) held an emergency inter-bureau meeting on epidemic prevention. The resolutions during the meeting were as follows:

✅Public transportation

Areas including Taiwan Railways, high-speed railways, and national highway transfer stations are actively disinfected.

✅Night market

Tasting is forbidden on site, only take-out is not for internal use, and eating while walking is prohibited.

✅Hospitals and long-term care institutions

The hospital builds an outdoor screening station. Strictly implement the sub-cabin diversion for long-term photos.

✅Community care centers

The elders’ meals were adjusted to be cooked on-site for the elders to bring back for consumption. Each base strengthened disinfection and measured body temperature and integrated systems.

✅Epidemic prevention promotion

In response to the manpower needs of stations, night markets, and evening markets, all bureaus coordinate the input of community volunteers, environmental protection volunteers, and volunteer police patrols in batches to assist in epidemic prevention and publicity.

✅School and teaching activities

The graduation ceremony is simple. In addition to implementing hand disinfection, real-name registration, and wearing masks, parents and foreign guests are not invited, and live broadcast online.

✅Consultation with public authorities

External: It is planned to be outside the office buildings of Yonghua and Minzhi Municipal Centers, with centralized service windows to facilitate contact with the public; the public will adopt a joint system, take temperature, maintain social distance or use partitions; provide masks for volunteers to wear; provide alcohol Disinfect for use. Ensure indoor air convection and implement environmental disinfection daily.

Internally: Offices are divided into compartments and electronic documents; meeting rooms are strictly equipped with plum blossom seats and masks, and no eating or drinking is allowed.

✅Anti-epidemic hotel

The establishment of a second back-up mechanism for Tainan epidemic prevention hotels, if there are a large number of queues, the centralized quarantine station has been completed.

✅Persons under home quarantine (quarantine)

Strengthen mobile contact and establish a local telephone verification mechanism.

The city government has urgently mobilized and asked the public to abide by the epidemic prevention regulations announced by the government.
