Q:If I lost my passport, how can I apply for Passport Loss Records?
A:After having lost passports, foreigners may report the loss to the nearby NIA service center or the NIA Border Affairs Corps offices at international airports, and submit the report record to the embassy, consulate or representative office that represents his/her country of origin in the ROC to apply for a new passport or a travel document. During non-business hours, foreigners can go to Specialized Team and Detention Center, Airport or Port Brigade. After having acquired a new passport or a travel document, they shall file for permission to exit the country at the local NIA service center before their departure from the country.
