■Not more than NT$60,000, RMB$20,000, and US$10,000 (or its equivalent in other foreign currencies) in notes can be brought in by each passenger, the amount in excess shall be declared to the Customs or declare negotiable securities in accordance with relevant regulations. In case of non-declaration or false declaration, a fine in the amount equivalent to the amount not declared or not truthfully declared shall be imposed.
■Passengers proceeding to the fever screening station are required to take off the hat in order to facilitate infrared body temperature detection. Passengers suspected of health problems are required to take relevant quarantine measures in accordance with the quarantine requirement from our immigration officers.
■To make inbound and outbound passenger clearance flow go smoothly, passengers shall not bring any goods under import or export restrictions, and passengers shall declare to the Customs in accordance with relevant regulations.
■Any wild animals and endangered species of wildlife or products thereof are not allowed to be exported. If anyone smuggles animals, plants or products thereof into this country, imprisonment of not more than seven years, detention and/or a fine NT$3,000,000 shall be imposed.
■In accordance with Narcotics Endangerment Prevention Act, the maximum penalty for manufacture, transport and selling drugs is death or life imprisonment; the maximum penalty for drug user is imprisonment of 6 months or more or not more than five years!
